The Sync for SharePoint & DM allow for DM documents to be mirrored directly to the workspace in SharePoint and for SharePoint documents to be uploaded directly into the DM library. It also enables automatic
document sync between the two applications, allowing team members to collaborate more efficiently.
By linking together folders in eDOCS DM with lists in SharePoint, document-based information can be shared securely and easily, adding value and quality to internal as well as external projects.
Automated profilingSync for SharePoint & DM automatically profiles and saves SharePoint documents in to the DM repository, ensuring document-based information generated from collaboration with external parties is always
captured – and with appropriate metadata. The user jus needs to upload the document to a list in Share-Point and it is automatically imported to the applicable folder in DM inheriting profile information and security from the folder.
Sync for SharePoint & DM also simplifies the sharing of DM documents with external parties. The users simply drop the document in a designated DM folder and the document is automatically mirrored or
copied to a pre-defined list at the project site. This makes it easier for the users while improving quality and control of all project documents.
The sync also ensures that document updates are always reflected
immediately, no matter which application the user is working in.
